University Project #8
I'm sorry for uploading something that is realistic for once ;p actually this is one of my university projects completed for 4th year drawing. My professor allows us to create anything as long as it revealed about our own individuality and here it is, Pirates of the Caribbean:faint:This one took me awhile, but it was worth it. I know I have no background^^; I didn't have time to finish it all, but I hope you guys enjoy it:blush:Here is Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swan, Barbossa, Davy Jones, Calypso and the Crakken (aka gigantic squid). I wanted to challenge myself with one medium and it is strictly finished in 0.7 mechanical pencil.


Mediums: Mechanical Pencil 0.7
Duration: 45 hours (a full time job, along with some overtime lol:giggle:)

The shading is really smooth and even! I especially like Jack's coat; it looks like you worked really hard on it!

... but then again, Jack Sparrow is pure win. : D

Nice values, poses, and composition. :D Did you use a reference? But some parts of it look a little cartoon-y like the white scleras, and some parts look outlined. But it's very nice still. :)
